Participation in a comprehensive evaluation and assessment facilitates the individual treatment planning process.
Individual treatment planning is an ongoing process where the client and counselor work together to establish treatment goals and objectives tailored to meet your specific needs. Progress is carefully monitored through weekly treatment plan reviews and case management.
Clients will meet privately (one-on-one) with their counselor to identify personal problems contributing to their drug abuse. Together, the client and counselor will work toward client goals and objectives defined in his/her individual treatment plan.
Clients will engage in daily group therapy sessions, including process and specialty groups. The interpersonal process group allows clients to check-in, explore core feelings, discuss interpersonal, relational and social struggles, and share feedback with one another. The core group is based on specific program curriculum designed to promote personal growth and lifestyle change as well as enhance recovery skills and coping skills.
We not only help individuals learn how to stop using drugs and maintain a drug-free lifestyle, but we help our clients return to optimal levels of functioning in their personal and professional lives. Specialty education/didactic groups provide tools and resources to prevent relapse by improving self-awareness, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, as well as, understanding the theories surrounding addiction and recovery.
Holistic alternative treatment methods are incorporated into the schedule of services to promote personal change, transformation, and healing. Clients will experience new ways to generate lifestyle balance by engaging in healthy activities that help reduce the risk of relapse. Such holistic alternatives may include yoga, meditation, guided imagery, massage therapy, acupuncture, creative arts, and nutrition-wellness education.
Participation in structured recreational activities help clients explore leisure needs and interests in an effort to increase relaxation and stress reduction skills, as well as, develop new ways of expressing healthy feelings.
Our program incorporates community-based and on-site recovery support meetings such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Celebrate Recovery, and SMART Recovery.
We believe that family involvement is an important factor that facilitates the healing process of recovery from addiction. Our family counseling services utilize evidence based Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training (CRAFT) behavioral therapy principles.
Prior to discharge, clients will participate in aftercare planning to explore available community resources for transitional treatment options including, but not limited to, partial hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program, outpatient psychotherapy, outpatient psychiatry, and support group meetings.
