Marijuana Withdrawal
After many years of believing there are no withdrawal symptoms from quitting marijuana we now know
those beliefs are wrong. After smoking marijuana daily for many months, if you decide to quit you may
experience some if not all of these withdrawal symptoms: sleeping difficulties, anxiety, cravings,
decreased appetite, depressed mood, disturbed sleep, gastro-intestinal symptoms, irritability, headaches,
and night sweats. Marijuana withdrawal is typically not dangerous.
